Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including preparation, logistics, and execution.
• Provide bereavement support to families, offering guidance through the grieving process.
• Conduct consultations with families to discuss arrangements and preferences for services.
• Prepare the deceased for viewing by performing necessary sanitation, cosmetology, and dissection tasks.
• Manage event planning for memorial services, ensuring all details are handled with care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for families.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed when handling caskets or transporting remains.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it pertains to the funeral service industry.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to empathize with grieving families.
• Experience in funeral directing or related fields is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in event planning.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices related to handling deceased individuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $50,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
