Part-Time Church Pianist & Worship Leader
About Us
Round Hill Evangelical Presbyterian Church is a warm, welcoming congregation committed to meaningful, Christ-centered worship. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Church Pianist to help lead worship through piano and/or organ music and musical planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide music for all Sunday worship services (9:30 AM)
- Provide music for seasonal and special services (Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Easter, Christmas Eve, etc.)
- Select hymns and liturgical music in collaboration with the Pastor & Worship team
- Maintain music library and oversee organ/piano care
- Arrange substitutes when away
- Hold right of first refusal for weddings and funerals (additional compensation applies)
- Participate as requested in the Worship & Music team
- Uphold copyright and music licensing standards
Qualifications
- Proficiency in piano; guitar proficiency a plus
- Knowledge of sacred and liturgical music traditions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Desire to serve Jesus in a church setting
- Experience leading Congregation in learning new hymns and songs
Compensation
- Pay: $15,600 per year
- Paid Time Off (2-4 weeks depending on years of service)
- Support for continuing education such as workshops or conferences
