Journeyman Web Developer (Onsite)
*** United States Citizenship (Dual citizenship not authorized) and an Active DoD eligibility with favorable determination is required per government contract.***
Main Sail is seeking Journeyman Web Developers to support a large Navy enterprise in Mechanicsburg PA. Responsibilities:Work with designated customers to build out internal and external websites and web pages for business use.
Collaborate with site and content owners to organize and load content/files, build out sites, pages and web-based content in line with customer requirements, enable navigation menus, and enable site/page access settings (as required).
Design various user interface screens/components/Web prototypes utilizing current web design, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices and standards.
Design, deploy and maintain dynamic, database-driven Web applications/capabilities within the Enterprise Web Portfolio.
Design and maintain data models for use within an Oracle database to support the data and processing needs of an enterprise hosted web application.
Use the database tools to run and execute Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts to establish and populate Oracle database tables within a custom schema.
Deliver web application development of up to 4 distinct modules or applications simultaneously in the enterprise portfolio. The Web Developers will ensure the modules are developed with a consistent look and feel and coordination.
Serve as a primary point of contact for site and content updates to provide ongoing maintenance support.
Experience Required (3-7 years):
Current IAT-Level II (Baseline Security+ CE, Substitutes: CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
HTML/HTML5.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)/CSS3.
JavaScript.
Ajax.
JQuery.
Bootstrap.
Responsive Web Design (RWD).
Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL).
Additional Experience Nice to Have:
Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX).
Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
JDeveloper.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP)/Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
Agile Development.
Graphic Design.
Location:
Mechanicsburg PA (preferred). Remote will be considered in coordination with government client.
Duration: Aug 2026 - Aug 2027 with 4 option years.
