Civil / Mechanical CAD Designer

We’re currently looking for a CAD Designer to join our growing team in our Pittsburgh office. If you’re someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with great people, and making a tangible difference, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:

• Create 2D and 3D models and construction documents for water & wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, force mains, distribution networks, gravity sewers, lift stations, and other utility structures.
• Work alongside civil, mechanical, and structural engineers to translate design concepts into detailed CAD drawings that meet project specs and local/state standards.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency with CAD standards.\
• Assist with revisions based on field notes, markups, or feedback from engineers, field staff, or permitting agencies.
• Conduct occasional site visits to collect data and confirm existing conditions.

Who You Are:

• You hold an Associate degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) or related field, or equivalent experience.
• You have 5+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably related to water/wastewater systems or civil infrastructure.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D are your go-to’s, and if you know other design tools, even better.
• You have a strong attention to detail, and your drawings are clean, accurate, and rock-solid.
• You know the value of following CAD standards and keeping your work consistent and professional.
• You’re a strong communicator who plays well with others.
• Microsoft Office? You’ve got that down working with Word, Excel, and Outlook, with no problems.
• You’re not afraid to throw on a hard hat for a site visit and see your work come to life in the real world.
