Job description

Senior CNC Lathe Machinist

Various Horizontal and Vertical CNC lathes with Fanuc Control

Ellwood City, PA

Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00/HR

Permanent full-time position with overtime opportunities

1stand 2nd shift positions available (2nd shift differential of 6% hourly rate)

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate (Trade school or experience)

• Qualified Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience setting-up and operating CNC horizontal and vertical lathes

• Experience setting up both new and repetitive work. Being familiar with proper work holding methods. Using indicators to make sure the work piece is properly aligned.

• Knowledgeable in making tool offsets, program adjustments, & operate computer-controlled machines

• Set-up and adjust machine controls to include speeds, feeds and depth of cut, and proper axis to meet configuration requirements

• Perform mathematical calculations and layout center lines, reference points, machining guidelines and angular dimensions on materials, parts, assemblies and tooling for machining processes.

• Work from part drawings and use required precision measuring instruments to check machine positioning and inspect work

• Adjust machine cutting paths or settings

• Knowledge and familiarity or Gibbs Cam for programming is a plus.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm (varies if working overtime)

Afternoon shift 3:30pm-12:00am (varies if working overtime)

2ndshift differential of 6% hourly rate

Occasional optional Saturdays 5:00am-1:00pm
