We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for our growing client based in the York, PA area. The Bookkeeper will manage and maintain accurate financial records for our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting critical accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and accurately post journal entries to ensure up-to-date financial records.
• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Oversee the management of invoices and payments, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and deadlines.
• Provide support for budgeting processes, annual audits, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify and implement improvements in financial processes and strategies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping; an associate degree in accounting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
