Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team and drive an existing product to General Availability (GA). This is a critical role that will own the completion and successful launch of a key offering, followed by defining the future roadmap, including integrating patient preferences into our AI agent workflows. This Product Manager will be instrumental in the final push to GA, meticulously managing the product backlog and ensuring seamless execution. You'll be the central hub for communication, providing crucial updates to stakeholders, leading key meetings, and ensuring all teams are aligned on priorities. Your day-to-day will involve a high degree of collaboration, not only with our internal engineering and design teams but also with our knowledge and customer support teams, contributing to customer webinars and knowledge base content. You'll also be responsible for proactively identifying and escalating risks, ensuring that important information cuts through the noise and reaches the right people. Post-launch, you'll pivot to strategic planning, defining how patient preferences can be integrated into our innovative AI agent workflows, charting the course for the product's next evolution.

This position will report to our Senior Director, Product Management. Some of the key stakeholders are based in Hungary, so there is a requirement to work Eastern time zone for the best opportunities for collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Drive an existing software product to General Availability (GA), overseeing all remaining development, testing, and launch activities.
  • Define and build a V1 roadmap for patient preferences and their integration into AI agent workflows.
  • Manage and groom the product backlog to ensure clear priorities and efficient development cycles.
  • Communicate critical project updates to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Lead and facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive decisions.
  • Support knowledge and customer-facing teams by contributing to customer webinars and knowledge base content.
  • Communicate top-down priorities effectively to the development teams.
  • Proactively identify and raise risks upwards, ensuring timely awareness and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain bi-directional communication flow, ensuring information is shared effectively across all levels and teams.

Requirements

  • Proven success in taking a software project from discovery through General Availability (GA), with the ability to articulate the detailed process followed.
  • Experience in a B2B2C setting is highly desirable.
  • Direct experience working with AI products and engineering teams.
  • Proficiency with communication platforms and tools.
  • Expertise with Jira and Confluence (Atlassian Suite) for project and documentation management.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and the ability to independently solve complex problems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus

  • Prior experience in Healthcare IT or knowledge of the healthcare market.
  • Prior experience with product marketing or involvement in the product marketing process
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Atlassian Certified Professional designation.

$114,000 - $156,000 a year

The compensation for this role will be based on level of experience and the geographic tier in which you are located. This position also comes with equity and a variety of benefits.

Tier 1 Salary: $130,000 - $156,000

Non-Tier 1 Salary: $114,000 - $136,000

OUR APPROACH TO WORK LOCATION

Artera has hybrid office locations in Santa Barbara, CA, and Philadelphia (Wayne), PA, where team members typically come in three days a week. Specific frequency can vary depending on your team's needs, manager expectations and/or role responsibilities.

In addition to our U.S. office locations, we are intentionally building geographically concentrated teams in several key metropolitan areas, which we call our “ Hiring Hubs .” We are currently hiring remote candidates located within the following hiring hubs:

- Boston Metro Area, MA

- Chicago Metro Area, IL

- Denver Metro Area, CO

- Kansas City Metro Area (KS/MO)

- Los Angeles Metro Area, CA

- San Francisco / Bay Area, CA

- Seattle Metro Area, WA

This hub-based model helps us cultivate strong local connections and team cohesion, even in a distributed environment.

To be eligible for employment at Artera, candidates must reside in one of our hybrid office cities or one of the designated hiring hubs. Specific roles may call out location preferences when relevant.

As our hubs grow, we may establish local offices to further enhance in-person connection and collaboration. While there are no current plans in place , should an office open in your area, we anticipate implementing a hybrid model. Any future attendance expectations would be developed thoughtfully, considering factors like typical commute times and access to public transit, to ensure they are fair and practical for the local team.
