Manufacturing Engineer ( {{city}})
Kane Partners seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings across our production floor. This is a hands-on role where your engineering expertise and problem-solving mindset will directly impact our operations and bottom line. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product manufacturability, and help shape the future of our fabrication and assembly operations.
What You'll Do
Identify and lead initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and safety while reducing manufacturing costs.
Develop, implement, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes that support both fabrication and assembly.
Analyze current workflows and perform time/motion studies to establish accurate production standards.
Create standard work instructions and supporting documentation to ensure repeatable and scalable operations.
Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure new products are optimized for manufacturability.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
Design custom fixtures and tooling to support streamlined operations.
Drive lean manufacturing practices and participate in Kaizen events to foster continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate BOMs and production routings as needed.
Stay current on emerging technologies and manufacturing best practices and apply them where appropriate.
Who You Are
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification preferred.
68 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Deep understanding of fabrication processes and equipment such as MIG welding, press brakes, saws, waterjets/plasma cutters, rollers, lathes, etc.
Experience programming and operating CNC machines (milling and turning).
Skilled in blueprint reading and technical drawing creation.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; experience with Inventor Vault is a plus.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
Ability and enthusiasm to coach, train, and mentor others.
