Fleet Mechanic / Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a mixed fleet, including Class 8 semi-trucks, box trailers, heavy-duty and light-duty pickup trucks, and passenger vehicles/vans.
• Troubleshoot and repair both diesel and gasoline engines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct thorough Pennsylvania State and/or Federal vehicle safety inspections and emission tests as required.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, parts usage, and inspection results.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the facility and while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and maintaining a mixed fleet of heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles, including semi-trucks, trailers, and pickups.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, such as hydraulics, air brakes, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform repairs both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions.

Nice to Have

• CDL A or B
• State and Federal License Inspection Certification

Compensation

$19–$35 per hour , commensurate with experience.
