IT Procurement Manager (Hybrid Role)

PROCUREMENT MANAGER - Professional Services
LOCATION: Reading, PA = "Hybrid Role"
OVERVIEW: Seeking a Procurement Manager with demonstrated experience in spend categories, competency in contract language and negotiation and strong program/project management skills to develop and execute global sourcing strategies. Support global procurement strategies.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Design, implement, and manage sourcing strategies for the organization
- Analyze supply base, category market conditions, stakeholder requirements, pricing trends, and competitive benchmarking to determine appropriate sourcing strategies
- Deliver category management services, including strategic sourcing, process improvement, risk management, supplier performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement
- Develop and implement cost savings/value creation projects across professional services categories
- Establish and evaluate performance dashboard/metrics for professional services categories
- Structure, negotiate, and manage service and supply agreements with suppliers, including complex long-term strategic agreements, short-term transactional agreements and project-based or consulting agreements
- Support our Business Transformation (BTE) initiatives including procurement business process design, gap analysis and change management plan
- Proactively engage, influence, and collaborate with the Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, Quality, R&D and Operations teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project plans
- Drive stakeholder engagement within the IT, Professional Services - Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, Travel and Consulting Categories
- Ensure compliance with our purchasing policies and procedures, business code of conduct, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Manage the source to pay process to support business operations across the organization to ensure consistency and best practices are implemented
- Analyze supply base, category market conditions, stakeholder requirements, pricing trends and competitive benchmarking to determine appropriate sourcing strategy
- Lead, motivate, and develop employees within Procurement organization
- Perform all other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field required
- 5+ years' procurement, category management, and strategic sourcing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement systems, processes, and procedures
- Demonstrated category management expertise in one or more of the following IT (Cloud, Hosting, SaaS Agreements, Digital, Hardware, Software License Agreements), Professional Services - Finance, Marketing (Creative agencies, Print) Human Resources (Benefits, Contingent Resources, Recruiting Services), Legal, Travel and Consulting (both T&M and Fixed Cost Engagements) Categories
- Proven excellence in professional services contract language, contract negotiation, contract management, conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Demonstrated project management and execution skills with ability to manage multiple large complex projects with competing priorities and timelines
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, implement, and execute procurement strategies
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial analysis
- Ability to quickly analyze data, as well as extrapolate and communicate insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—reading, writing, and listening
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
PREFERRED:
- Professional Certification (C.P.M., CPSM) and Industry knowledge preferred
- Effective collaboration skills and ability to lead cross functional teams
- Ability to influence stakeholders at mid to senior levels across the organization and develop relationships with strategic suppliers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
