Business Analyst III

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst III for a Contract role with a client in Canonsburg, PA (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights, modeling, reporting, and recommendations that enhance business performance, operational efficiency, and customer analytics.

Rate Range: $42.87/hour to $44.87/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst III job responsibilities include:

• Develop and deploy data models, dashboards, reports, and analytics that are accurate, complete, and actionable.

• Lead efforts to interpret and present analytical and modeling results to business stakeholders.

• Provide predictive and prescriptive analytics and drive strategic recommendations based on data findings.

• Retrieve, analyze, and investigate large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.

• Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including business partners and Data & Digital teams, to aggregate and analyze data.

• Develop metrics and KPIs that align with business needs and support enterprise initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to sound data governance, quality practices, and forward‑thinking visualization standards.

• Communicate insights clearly to leadership and stakeholders, driving alignment and informed decision‑making.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Business Analytics, Economics , or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in analytical roles with a strong data‑driven mindset.

• Experience analyzing moderately complex datasets and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a deadline‑driven environment.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Power Automate .

• Experience with one or more coding or statistical languages/tools (preferred):

  • SQL, JavaScript, R, Python, Excel VBA, SAS, RAW

• Strong experience with ServiceNow , including dashboard development and database view creation.

• Strong background in data mining , predictive analytics, and mapping.

• Expertise in statistical modeling techniques including regression , log‑linear regression , and variable selection .

Pay Details: $42.87 to $44.87 per hour
