Job Description

We are seeking several Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) who are responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement. The role requires meeting customer commitments on schedule and within budget while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work instructions and adhere to safety procedures including WHMIS.
• Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, and action teams.
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
• Perform entry-level assembly functions such as prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.
• Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation using screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.
• Perform pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units in depth.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Access production tools like routers, parts lists, and work instructions, and perform wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.

Essential Skills

• Assembly experience with circuit boards and electronic components.
• Soldering and mechanical skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and wire tabulations.
• Experience in circuit board repair and panel board assembly.
• Proficiency in quality control and mechanical assembly.
• Skills in cable assembly, crimping, and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and controlled, with a casual dress code. Assemblers typically use ESD wrist straps and wear smocks over their personal clothes. The shift operates Monday through Thursday from 6am to 3:30pm and every other Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. Overtime is expected and required once hired.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
