Barton Associates are in search of a customer-focused Information Technology Support Specialist to join our IT team based in York, PA
- Serve as primary Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk contact, providing hands-on and remote support for hardware, software, Windows 11 systems, and connectivity issues.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environment, including Outlook, Office apps, Teams (chat/voice/video), email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and user licensing.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2019+ environments and core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting and automation tools to improve IT operations, manage deployments, and maintain accurate system inventory and documentation.
- Provide installation, licensing, and troubleshooting support for specialized engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SKM, Trane Trace).
- Deliver strong customer-focused service in a fast-paced, multi-location environment, prioritizing issues effectively while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a help desk or IT support role
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 11 operating systems
- Microsoft Office 365 environment, including New Outlook and Teams
- Dell, Intel NUC, HP, Lenovo Hardware
- Active Directory
- DNS/DHCP
- Group Policy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting engineering or architecture software environments
- Windows Server 2019+
- Networking fundamentals
- Omnissa Horizon VDI
- Experience with endpoint deployment and imaging solutions
