Legal Compliance Lead Analyst
The Legal Compliance Lead Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with business units, legal, compliance, and technology teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and establish preventative measures that minimize organizational risk and drive continuous improvement. This position will evaluate the effectiveness of controls and will partner with operational teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Legal Compliance Lead Analyst will support efforts to expand and elevate compliance program activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Design and deliver compliance audit, monitoring, and testing programs.
- Prepare, analyze, and consolidate data for executive-level compliance and risk reporting.
- Create and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Create employee communications and reference materials on compliance topics.
- Conduct employee training sessions on compliance topics as needed.
- Analyze compliance trends, identify emerging risks, and engage with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation plans.
- Assess incidents, determine appropriate resolutions, and coordinate timely response efforts.
- Partner with internal departments to promote compliance best practices and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Administer the business unit’s sanctions compliance program, including reviewing and investigating transactions and escalating potential risks as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and compliance resource for internal and external partners.
- Support strategic compliance initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years of compliance experience within healthcare, employee benefits, and/or financial services NEEDED.
Demonstrated expertise in compliance incident management and risk assessment.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Working knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements, privacy regulations, anti‑money laundering standards, and sanctions compliance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment while adapting to shifting regulatory expectations.
Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous or evolving environments, using sound judgment when established procedures are incomplete or unavailable.
Proven adaptability through periods of change, with the ability to recalibrate priorities and approaches based on regulatory, operational, or business needs
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 76,100 - 126,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
