Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Coatesville, PA is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to support student development, promote mental health, and contribute to a positive school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments to identify students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services
- Interpreting assessment results and municating findings to relevant stakeholders
- Assisting in the development of strategies to address academic and social challenges
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Pennsylvania certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, counseling, and munication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse school munity
- Knowledge of current educational laws, regulations, and best practices
