• Facility: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Lab
• Employment Type: Travel/Locum Tenens
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 30, 2025
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $3000 - $3080

Qualifications – Interventional Radiology Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Interventional Radiology program
• Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) – Required
• Interventional Technologist certification (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or related clinical support field
• Strong knowledge of digital imaging equipment and interventional procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Tech

• Perform Interventional, Neuro, and Endovascular procedures, including embolization, stenting, and limb preservation
• Assist Interventional Radiologist during procedures, diagnostic studies, and treatments
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast media, and ensure radiation safety compliance
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment, reconstruct 3D images, and perform digital subtraction angiography
• Document medical information and report patient reactions or changes to the Registered Nurse
• Maintain and order interventional supplies; clean and sterilize equipment
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients throughout procedures
