Cannonball Recruiting is hiring a Precision Mold Tooling Specialist to support a high-performing manufacturing team in Berks County, PA. If meticulous craftsmanship, tight tolerances, and building reliable tooling are what you enjoy, this is a place to put those skills to work.

A Day in the Life

You’ll start your morning reviewing prints and planning your builds. From there, you’ll move between CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines to fabricate components, assemble molds, and verify dimensions against specifications. You’ll collaborate with engineers to refine designs, conduct quality checks, and step in to repair or retrofit existing tooling to keep production moving smoothly. Safety and organization are part of your rhythm every step of the way.

What You'll Do

• Design, fabricate, and assemble molds using appropriate materials and techniques.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure exacting accuracy.
• Operate CNC machines, lathes, and milling equipment to produce mold components.
• Inspect, measure, and validate finished work to meet specification requirements.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to optimize designs and build quality.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing molds to extend service life and performance.
• Uphold safety standards while keeping the work area clean and organized.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mold making or a related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience as a Mold Maker or in closely related tooling roles.
• Strong grasp of mold design concepts and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with CNC equipment and common machining tools.
• Ability to read and apply technical drawings and specifications.
• Sharp problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
