Orion Allied Healthcare is seeking experienced Pre-Op/Post- Op Registered Nurses (RNs)for a travel assignment in State College, PA. This is a great opportunity to provide critical care in a supportive environment while enjoying the lifestyle of Pennsylvania.

- Duration: 13 weeks (extensions available)
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $2,315

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery
- Administer necessary medications and complete paperwork
- Educate patients and families about the procedure and post-operative care
- Help calm patient fears
- As a scrub nurse: Maintain sterility, anticipate the surgeon's needs, and pass instruments and supplies
- As a circulating nurse: Manage the overall nursing care in the operating room, ensure safety, and maintain a comfortable environment
- Assist with patient positioning
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes
- Assist anesthesia personnel with intubation/extubation and monitoring
- Document the surgical procedure accurately
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Pre-Op/Post-Op RN experience
- Active RN license
- Strong critical care skills and ability to perform in high-acuity settings
