Project Coordinator

Alpha Space Control is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, execution, and completion of traffic control, pavement marking, and roadway safety projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, field supervisors, customers, subcontractors, and government agencies to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and daily activities to support efficient project execution.
- Assist Project Managers with planning, budgeting, documentation, and project administration.
- Prepare and maintain project files, contracts, permits, work orders, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure materials, equipment, and personnel are available when needed.
- Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, delays, and potential issues to stakeholders.
- Track project costs, purchase orders, invoices, and billing documentation.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, organized, and submitted according to contract requirements.
- Maintain communication with customers, municipalities, and government agencies throughout each project.
- Support compliance with company safety policies, DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and quality control procedures.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting agendas, notes, and action items.
- Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of project coordination or construction administration experience preferred.
- Experience in roadway construction, traffic control, pavement marking, or civil construction is a plus.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with project management or construction management software is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
