Practice Administrative Coordinator

Our state-of-the-art dental practice is searching for a detail-oriented and compassionate Practice Administrative Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this position has exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and patient comfort. We are a comprehensive practice that offers comprehensive dental care, cosmetic dentistry, and temporomandibular joint disorder therapy. Looking for the right candidate that shares the mission of the practice that is focused on patient centered comprehensive care.
Essential Functions:
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Schedules appointments
· Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously.
· Calls patients to reschedule appointments as needed
· Completes patient check-in procedures including updating insurance and updating paperwork.
· Completes patient check-out procedures including collecting payment, scheduling follow up appointments, and providing patient with instructions as needed.
· Insurance Verification
· Treatment plans and Pre- treatment estimates
· Reviews accounts of scheduled patients for balances
Qualifications:
· High school diploma and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Computer experience required
· Knowledge of third-party insurance preferred
· Previous Dental office experience preferred
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Dentrix Software
