Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Shippenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation team. Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Carry out individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Accurately document treatments and resident progress using Net Health EMR.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal resident outcomes.

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred, but not required.

• Experience with Net Health is a plus.

• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
