Prior experience in lice removal is absolutely a plus, and we'd love to hear from you if you have it. But we also know that the best person for this job isn't always the one with the longest resume — it's the one with the right attitude, the right touch, and a genuine desire to help people.

For the right candidate, we provide full professional training to get you confident and client-ready before your very first appointment.

What This Role Actually Looks Like

You'll travel directly to clients' homes, perform thorough lice screenings and treatments, and walk families through everything they need to know to stay lice-free going forward. Most calls come in same-day — families in a pinch need someone they can count on to show up calm, capable, and ready.

This is independent, self-directed work that rewards people who are good with their hands, good with people, and genuinely enjoy solving a problem thoroughly.

Day to day, you'll:

• Perform professional lice screenings and all-natural removal treatments
• Educate clients on prevention and aftercare with patience and clarity
• Represent Lice Free Noggins with warmth and professionalism in every home you enter
• Recommend products when appropriate to support long-term results

The Pay & Schedule

• $50–$60 per hour + tips
• Flexible, self-directed schedule — you choose when you're available
• Roughly 2–20 hours per week (hours vary)
• On-call style availability — many appointments are same-day
• Day, evening, and weekend availability is helpful

This works especially well as a primary or secondary income for someone who values schedule flexibility and meaningful, people-centered work.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with current insurance
• Smartphone with texting capability
• Ability to travel up to 1 hour to client homes in the Philadelphia/Central NJ area
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional, punctual, and dependable

A background in cosmetology, hair care, nursing, childcare, or a related field is a plus — but what matters most is your character and your commitment.
