Part-Time Physical Therapist
Location: Private School in Newtown, Bucks County
Schedule: Part-Time rotating weekly schedule with an extended school year (ESY)
- Week 1; One day per week (any four hours between 9:30 am - 2:30 pm)
- Week 2; One day per week (any two hours between 9:30 am - 2:30 pm)

We are seeking a Physical Therapist who will play a vital part in helping students develop motor skills, improve physical function, and gain confidence in their movement through individualized therapy sessions within their educational placement.
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet sensory and behavioral needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
Skills
- Experience working with autistic children or in special education settings.
- Knowledge of sensory integration and motor development.
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is beneficial.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania.
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- 3 hours of PA-approved child abuse recognition and reporting training.
