A law firm focusing on real estate, construction, business formation, estate planning and probate, and civil litigation seeks an experienced paralegal/legal secretary to support two attorneys. A minimum of five years of experience in a law office is required.

Responsibilities:
Provide support to two attorneys handling civil litigation, real estate litigation and transactional work, estate planning and administration, and construction litigation.
Screen business calls and emails to obtain information and schedule consultations for attorneys; manage attorneys schedules for court appearances and meetings.
Transcribe pleadings, briefs, and correspondence from digital dictation software.*
Draft documents for the formation and operation of corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, joint ventures, and other businesses.*
Draft deeds, mortgages, leases, and related documents involved in real estate transactions.*
Prepare and file pleadings and other documents involved in civil litigation, primarily in state courts throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Draft wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare declarations, and assist with estate administration.*

Software Used:
Practice Panther, Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Excel), SoftPro applications for real estate transactions, Lackner 6-in-1, Westlaw, various e-filing programs for court filings, and Start/Stop digital dictation. Experience with any of this software is preferred.
