About the Role

• We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Household Assistan t to support the day-to-day operations of a private home in Bryn Mawr, PA.

• This hands-on role combines light housekeeping, personal assistant support, and pet care, helping ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping and daily tidying of living spaces

• Laundry and ironing

• Light meal preparation (e.g., assembling breakfast, simple lunches, prepping ingredients)

• Walking and feeding two dogs; prepping dog food

• Running errands (e.g., groceries, pharmacy, dry cleaning, prescriptions)

• Managing petty cash and household tips

• Overseeing and coordinating with regular household vendors and service providers (e.g., cleaners, landscapers, pool service)

• Organizational projects (e.g., tidying closets, organizing the pantry)

• General household upkeep (note: deep cleaning is handled by a professional service)

Qualifications

• Dependable, discreet, and respectful of household privacy

• Proactive with a sunny disposition and a can-do attitude

• Able to anticipate needs and work independently

• Comfortable around dogs; prior experience with pet care is a plus

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Basic cooking and meal prep ability

• Experience managing household services or vendors is a plus
