We are looking for a Full-time Personal Training Director and Full-time/Part-time Personal Trainers.

PTD Position Summary

The Personal Training Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the personal training department, including client and trainer scheduling, program development, sales, and client retention. This leadership role requires a hands-on fitness professional who is not only certified to train but eager to continue learning, mentoring, and growing a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage client and trainer schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and availability

- Provide 1-on-1 and group personal training sessions as needed

- Drive personal training sales and promote training packages

- Maintain strong client retention through relationship-building and measurable results

- Build and maintain a positive social media presence to represent Asylum Fitness and promote services

- Conduct fitness assessments, establish goals with clients, and track progress over time

- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring personal trainers

- Manage client contracts and ensure proper documentation and billing for training services

- Stay certified and committed to continued education in the fitness industry

- Design and implement individualized training programs tailored to client goals and needs

Qualifications

- Current Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, etc.)

- CPR/AED Certification

- Minimum 2 years of experience in personal training; leadership or management experience preferred

- Strong knowledge of exercise science, program design, and injury prevention

- Passion for fitness, leadership, and ongoing professional development

- Excellent communication, sales, and organizational skills

- Ability to foster a motivating, client-focused training environment

Personal Trainer Key Responsibilities

- Conduct 1-on-1 personal training sessions and group fitness classes for members of all fitness levels- Create, update, and manage client profiles to track progress and goals

- Perform fitness assessments, including taking client measurements and progress evaluations

- Fulfill trainer floor hours and desk responsibilities as scheduled

- Represent Asylum Fitness through a strong social media presence and community engagement

- Attend trainer meetings with gym management to align on programming, expectations, and development- Demonstrate a strong desire for continuous learning by pursuing additional certifications and staying current on industry trends

Requirements:

- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

- nationally recognized certification required (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, etc.)- CPR/AED certification preferred

- Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals- Strong communication, motivational, and time management skills

- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital fitness engagement is a plus
