Welder

Join a dynamic and thriving custom fabrication shop as a Welder. You will be part of a team that specializes in creating bespoke commercial landscaping equipment and high-volume parts for various industries, including fire truck bodies, stage components, trailer frames, and bumper assemblies.

• Interpret and work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to build a variety of parts, components, or complete machines.
• Perform MIG welding on steel and other materials, ensuring adherence to required quality specifications.
• Set up and operate welding machines, develop component weld fixtures, and build machines as needed.
• Grind and finish welds to meet project specifications.
• Participate in various projects, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

• Proficiency in MIG or TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to work with drawings or blueprints.
• Experience with carbon steel; familiarity with aluminum is a plus.

• Minimum 1 year of experience or formal welding and fabrication training.
• Experience in setting up welding machines and welding on steel.
• Skills in grinding and polishing.

While the shop is not climate-controlled, it offers a procedure-driven environment with strong safety protocols. Employees may float between two facilities, situated 6 miles apart, as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honey Brook, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
