LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization to hire a skilled Payroll Specialist for a critical transitional period following recent acquisitions. This is a standalone role responsible for managing payroll for approximately 200 employees across home care and transportation teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in ADP and working knowledge of Dayforce, ensuring seamless payroll processing without multiple system migrations.
Job Title: Temporary Payroll Specialist Location: Onsite in Trevose, PA
Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour
Contract Type: Short-term Contract
Process bi-weekly payroll for ~200 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
Manage payroll cycles from Monday through Wednesday, including data entry, validation, and final submission.
Collaborate with the Director of Payroll to maintain consistency and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
Handle payroll adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings accurately.
Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed during the acquisition transition.
Provide support for benefits-related deductions and ensure proper integration with payroll systems.
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location environment.
Proficiency in ADP; experience with Dayforce is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
Ability to work independently in a standalone role and manage high-volume payroll efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills for liaising with leadership and employees.
