Part Time Professional Staff Nurse - Pediatrics

UPMC Hamot Women’s Hospital is looking to hire a Part-Time Professional Staff Nurse to the Pediatrics Unit!

This position is part-time, rotating 50/50 days and nights. 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience highly preferred.

Title and starting pay rate of this position may vary based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized plans of care in partnership with patients and families, addressing clinical, psychosocial, safety, and spiritual needs.

• Demonstrates strong critical-thinking and clinical judgment skills in the assessment and management of patient care.

• Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team, clearly articulating patient conditions, care plans, and recommendations.

• Maintains accurate, thorough, and timely documentation to support continuity of care.

• Aligns practice with national professional standards, health system initiatives, and unit-based goals to improve patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
