We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Buchanan Automotive Inc. in Waynesboro, PA. In this role, you will serve as the key point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. You will use your automotive knowledge and customer service skills to diagnose customer needs, communicate repairs, and coordinate service appointments effectively.

• Greet customers promptly and assist them with vehicle service needs
• Listen carefully to customers’ concerns and accurately document service requests
• Communicate diagnostic findings from technicians clearly and professionally to customers
• Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs and maintenance
• Schedule and manage service appointments to maximize shop productivity
• Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on service completion and addressing any issues
• Maintain thorough and organized service records
• Stay informed about current automotive technology and repair procedures

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple customers and tasks efficiently
• Proficiency with service management software and basic computer skills
• Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus
• Reliable transportation to our Waynesboro, PA location
