Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with diverse students requiring specialized instructional support within a public school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-12 students with varying disabilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset to work with general education teachers and support staff

Location:

• Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students individual learning needs
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support personnel to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student services
