We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment in Waynesboro, PA, and are looking for a passionate professional to help us maintain our high standards of dental health. Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records.
- Manage infection control protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
- Valid state license to practice dental hygiene in Pennsylvania.
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent education.
- Experience in a dental office preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
