We are seeking a highly organized, service‑oriented, and experienced Team Lead, Workplace Experience to elevate and optimize our employee experience and critical facility operations. What You'll Do:
- Oversee and manage building access protocols, maintaining accurate tracking systems for keys and access cards.
- Serve as the primary liaison with property management, ensuring efficient building maintenance and timely resolution of facility‑related issues.
- Manage day‑to‑day building operations, proactively identifying and addressing maintenance needs.
- Respond to employee inquiries and workplace‑service requests, delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused experience.
- Supervise, mentor, and performance‑manage Workplace Associates and other team members for sustained periods, fostering a high‑performing, collaborative environment.
- Conduct evaluations for specialists and team members, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with other operations departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.
- Promote a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and a positive, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
- Strategically manage vendor relationships and operational budgets to ensure efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
- Translate operational vision into actionable plans, anticipate challenges, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use data analysis to identify trends and inform decision‑making, continuously optimizing workplace operations.
- Oversee planning, prioritization, and management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR significant equivalent experience in commercial real estate or property management.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in workplace operations, commercial real estate, and/or property management, including at least 1 year in a direct supervisory role.
- Experience supervising Office Managers or administrative staff handling day‑to‑day office operations is highly valued.
- Proven experience managing vendor relationships, operational budgets, and a working understanding of lease negotiations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
- A demonstrated self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously, identify needs, and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor and partner terms.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and anticipate future needs.
- Strong leadership capabilities—able to inspire teams, build consensus, and navigate complex situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Comfort working with data, identifying trends, and using insights to guide operational decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to resolve complex operational challenges.
- A genuine passion for creating exceptional workplace experiences and fostering a positive employee environment.
- Understanding of confidential information and sensitivities.
- Experience in commercial real estate or the hospitality industry is a significant asset.
- Working knowledge of marketing/advertising agency operations, business systems, and project management processes is a plus
- Ability to be onsite 5 days a week is required***
