Heavy Equipment Operator - Well Services

Growing Seasons Landscaping (GSL) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Well Services Division in Canonsburg, PA. As an integral part of our team, you will operate excavators, skid steers, and dozers to support pad construction, access road improvements, site restoration, and well site operations within oil & gas or heavy civil environments. Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, and dozers for pad construction, maintenance, trenching, backfilling, roadway and access improvements, and site restoration.
• Perform finish grading and maintain precise elevations according to project plans and field direction.
• Work on active and reclaimed well sites while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, greasing, and basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with foremen and crew members to execute daily work plans effectively.
• Assist ground crew as needed to maintain productivity and workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant jobsite at all times.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators, skid steers, and dozers in oil & gas, utilities, heavy civil, or industrial construction environments.
• Proven ability to perform finish grading and maintain accurate elevations.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety, hazard awareness, and proper use of PPE.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to climb on and off equipment multiple times per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with GPS machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, etc.) preferred.
• Experience working on well pads or pipeline projects preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
