Job Title: Slitter Operator

Job Description

Operate in the finishing area working on slitter machines. Responsibilities include ensuring print and seam quality, removing defective material, splicing roll webs, and handling rolls for palletizing. Candidates will also record and enter data into company systems and participate in special projects.

Responsibilities

• Continuously check for print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice roll web per specification.
• Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure.
• Handle and palletize finished rolls.
• Look for seam-related defects.
• Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in the company operation system.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.
• Basic mathematics skills including addition, subtraction, and division.
• Data entry skills.
• Experience with slitter machines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50/hr.
