Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of railcar coupling devices as a Production Worker and contribute to the quality and efficiency of our production process. In this role, you will use grinders and chipping hammers to refine and perfect steel castings, ensuring they meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Position castings on workbench using a hoist.
• Visually inspect castings and identify necessary work.
• Guide grinder or chipping hammer along specified guidelines on the casting's edge or surface.
• Use production gauges to verify casting specifications.
• Verify the number and type of castings prepared for shipment.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleanup in the work area.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
