Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory Support Associate (SAP) supports accurate inventory control and efficient material flow within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role focuses on maintaining synchronization between SAP and physical inventory, fulfilling parts orders using RF guns and warehouse management systems, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate stock movements. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a high sense of ownership and urgency, professional communication skills, and the ability to solve problems in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts to fulfill work orders using RF guns and warehouse management systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Work closely with Production Control, Production, Material Planning, and other departments to keep SAP and actual inventory levels aligned.
• Perform regular cycle counting activities to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
• Put material into stock in accordance with established procedures and system requirements.
• Ensure material is correctly issued and staged for Repair Orders and Sales Orders.
• Support cross-functional efforts to fulfill parts orders for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and other priority requests.
• Enter and update inventory and shipping/receiving data in SAP, ERP, and other inventory control systems.
• Adhere to warehouse safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to track, report, and analyze inventory and warehouse data.
• Communicate professionally with team members and other departments to resolve inventory issues and support smooth material flow.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and process issues.
• Handle shipping and receiving activities as needed, including verification, documentation, and system updates.

Essential Skills

• Strong computer skills, including experience with data entry and inventory software programs.
• Hands-on experience using RF guns for inventory control and pulling parts for work orders.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems, SAP, ERP systems, Oracle, and related inventory control software.
• Previous warehouse experience with inventory, shipping, and receiving responsibilities.
• High level of detail orientation and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• High sense of ownership and urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues.
• Professional demeanor, responsibility, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Problem-solving ability to address inventory and material flow challenges.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with Production Control, Production, Material Planning, and other departments.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Physical dexterity to perform typical warehouse tasks such as handling materials and operating equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office for data tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and documentation.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment with inventory control responsibilities.
• Ability to learn and adapt to different warehouse management systems and software tools.
• Strong organizational habits to maintain orderly stock and accurate records.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment that relies on warehouse management systems, RF guns, SAP, ERP systems, Oracle, and other inventory control software to manage material flow. The work involves regular interaction with production and planning teams, as well as participation in shipping and receiving activities. The setting emphasizes adherence to warehouse safety regulations and maintaining an organized, efficient workspace. Typical hours follow standard warehouse operations, with tasks centered on physical material handling, data entry, and coordination across departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
