What You'll Do as a Personal Lines Insurance Professional:
- Manage incoming client requests for both new and existing personal lines policies.
- Assess coverage needs and process underwriting, rating, and policy changes.
- Provide tailored upsell recommendations to enhance existing client coverage.
- Prepare & present insurance proposals and quotes to clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and support referral program initiatives.
- Complete administrative tasks such as issuing ID cards and processing bank verifications.
- Resolve customer billing and account-related inquiries with professionalism and care.
- Work full time, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative in-person office environment.
- Travel occasionally for local client or business needs; mileage gets reimbursed.
Our Ideal Personal Lines Insurance Professional :
- Experienced: 7–10 years in an insurance sales and service role and an active Property & Casualty license required; bachelor's degree preferred; Erie Insurance experience a plus.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and comfortable working in an Agency Management System.
- Client-focused: Brings exceptional customer service skills and a client-first mindset to every interaction.
- Communicative: Relates well to others and communicates clearly and professionally.
- Organized & Enthusiastic: Manages time well, stays motivated, and shows initiative in a team setting.
