Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MIG welder who possesses the ability to weld on cylinders and other facility equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in blueprint reading and quality control, and must be able to independently set up and verify their work. This role involves welding on cylinder rods approximately 60% of the time, starting with simple welding tasks around the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on cylinder rods and other facility equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints without assistance.
• Conduct quality control checks on completed work.
• Perform fabrication work and maintenance duties as required.
• Independently handle welding setups.
• Think creatively to solve welding challenges and tasks.

Essential Skills

• MIG welding experience.
• 1-5 years of experience in blueprint reading.
• 1-5 years of quality control experience.
• Ability to perform independent setups.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
