Devereux Childrens Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC) located in Malvern PA provides programs and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis within a safe and compassionate inpatient environment. The team is currently seeking a Full-Time Clinician to provide the coordination and delivery of clinical services to include family and individual therapy for assigned this role you will maintain a caseload of 6 individuals and provide therapy supportwith aftercare recommendations along with insurance reviews.

• Unlicensed annual salary of $54000 - $61560 and licensed annual salary of $56637 - $64566.18 (dependent upon experience).

Every day as a Clinician you will...

• Provide and/or coordinate the delivery of non-medical therapeutic services to patients in an acute care setting utilizing assessments and individual group and family therapy.
• Conduct strength based bio-psychosocial and need oriented assessmentof current family/guardian system develop treatment plan and follow up on progress
• Enter authorizations into Profiler within 24hr of obtaining them and follow up with all appeals
• Serve as the voice of treatment with all formal and informal communication with the team
• Coordinate discharge planning and assigned liaison activities between families agencies and the treatment team to insure the highest standard of participation and the best practice of service delivery

Devereux Pennsylvania Childrens Services (DPACS) center serves children adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders intellectual and developmental disabilities behavioral emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF) acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP) assessment services community-based mental health services community-based employment training and social skills training and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities autism spectrum disorders concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications

Education: Masters Degree in Psychology Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy Social Work or other related Human Service Discipline. Licensed or licensure track preferred.

- Clinical Internship and one year relevant experience working with children and adolescents in a residential setting required.

- Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. Microsoft word PowerPoint Excel etc).

Experience: Some experience working with children in a residential treatment setting.
