You'll handle local deliveries between our sites and customer locations, playing a big part in keeping our operations running smoothly. This job offers steady daytime hours, regular home time, and the chance to make a real difference every day. **This position is scheduled to work 2nd shift, 3pm to 11pm.** + **Weekly pay starting at $27 per hour and up.** + **Benefits effective immediately (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k with match).** **Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. + Drive and deliver materials safely across local routes connecting company facilities, warehouses, and customer sites. + Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo to ensure roadworthiness and compliance. + Secure loads using appropriate equipment and ensure cargo is protected during transport. + Maintain accurate driver logs and other required documentation, including delivery records and fuel usage. + Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure delivery accuracy and resolve issues. + Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including those specific to loading docks, forklifts, and packaging environments. + Provide routine vehicle maintenance checks and notify appropriate personnel of any mechanical issues. + Support warehouse operations and assist with loading/unloading as needed. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required. + Clean driving record in accordance with company and DOT standards. + Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and local traffic laws. + Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles including straight trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks with small trailers. + Strong communication and problem-solving skills. + Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently. **Education:** + High school diploma or GED required. **Compensation Statement** The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience. **Benefits Statement** Benefits include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance.
