Anesthesiologist -Philadelphia Area, New Jersey

Location: Philadelphia Area, New Jersey | Employment Type: 1099 | Compensation: $450/Hour - 6 Hour Daily Minimum Guarantee

The Opportunity

A well-established and growing mobile anesthesia practice in the Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist with pediatric expertise to join their team. This is a unique and flexible opportunity offering outstanding hourly compensation, a guaranteed minimum daily rate, and the ability to grow your schedule from 2-3 days per week all the way to full time as the practice expands. Whether you have completed a pediatric anesthesia fellowship or have extensive pediatric anesthesia experience - dental anesthesia experience is not required as training will be provided. With short case days ending by early afternoon and flexible scheduling this position offers exceptional earning potential and an outstanding quality of life.

At a Glance

• Location: Philadelphia Area - New Jersey
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Compensation: $450 per hour with a 6 hour daily minimum guarantee
• Earning Potential: $280,000 starting - growing to $700,000+ at full schedule
• Hours: Approximately 7AM to 1PM
• Schedule: 2-3 days per week to start - growing to 5 days per week
• Workload: 1-2 offices per day, 3-5 cases per day
• Flexible days available
• New Jersey AND Pennsylvania licenses required or ability to obtain

What You'll Do

You will provide high quality anesthesia services in a mobile outpatient dental setting - bringing hospital grade anesthesia directly to dental offices throughout the Philadelphia area. You will work with pediatric patients, special needs patients, and other patients requiring anesthesia for dental procedures in a safe and supportive environment. Strong IV placement skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• MD or DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology - required
• Pediatric anesthesia fellowship training OR extensive pediatric anesthesia experience - required
• Dental anesthesia experience not required - training will be provided
• Strong IV placement skills - required
• Active Pennsylvania medical licenses or ability to obtain both prior to start
• Comfortable working in a mobile outpatient dental setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experienced candidates only
