Install Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming out of a trade school or technical program with a foundational understanding of electrical systems or low-voltage work. You’ll receive hands-on training in the field , working closely with experienced Leads and a dedicated Project Manager to ensure you gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. We’re looking for someone motivated, reliable, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of low-voltage cabling and electrical components
• Support lead technicians with system installs and service calls
• Learn and apply best practices for security systems, access control, and alarm systems
• Troubleshoot basic issues under supervision
• Install and service CCTV/camera systems
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide excellent customer service while on-site

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of cabling , installation , and electrical systems
• Interest in low-voltage systems and fieldwork
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to:
  • Access control systems
  • CCTV / Camera systems
  • Burglar alarm systems
• Previous hands-on training or coursework in electrical or low-voltage technology
• Strong troubleshooting mindset

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sewickley, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
