Field Laborer
Summary – Field Laborer : We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Field Laborer to join our environmental field services team. In this role, you will support the installation, maintenance, and inspection of wastewater flow monitoring systems and rainfall monitoring equipment. This is a hands-on, outdoor field position ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and contributing to essential infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do as a Field Laborer
- Install flow monitoring systems within sewer lines, including sensor placement and equipment setup
- Set up and maintain rainfall monitoring equipment at designated locations
- Collect, record, and input field data into software platforms, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Perform manhole inspections manually or using telemonitoring tools
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain field instruments and equipment
- Document all field activities accurately and on time, including detailed notes, measurements, and site observations
- Follow all safety protocols and help ensure team compliance with safety procedures
What We’re Looking For as a Field Laborer
- Ability to perform physical field labor in various outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data
- Willingness to work in and around sewer environments
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate basic tools and equipment
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Experience with GIS or environmental monitoring (preferred but not required)
