Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: York, PA 17403 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Advanced Procedural Suite – Interventional Radiology
• Assignment Type: Travel RN (Locum Tenens)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)
• Shift Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• On-Call Requirements: Off-shift, weekends, and holidays (30-minute response time)
• Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no time off between Christmas and New Year's
• Facility Policy: Tobacco and fragrance-free environment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (no license hits accepted)
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficient with EPIC charting system
• Experience caring for COVID-19 patients
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Compliance with facility vaccine requirements (COVID-19 and Flu; exemptions considered)

Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Assess and prevent pressure ulcers in clinical settings
• Remove sheaths and monitor vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Ensure compliance with radiation and laser safety protocols
• Utilize Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale as needed
• Float to other hospital units as required
• Participate in on-call rotation for off-shift, weekend, and holiday coverage
