Role Overview:
The Sales Operations Manager will play a key role in managing customer relationships, supporting sales growth, and ensuring operational excellence across our wholesale, custom, and strategic partnership channels.
This individual will work closely with leadership, customers, and internal teams to drive efficiency, strengthen relationships, and help scale the Varlo brand.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Pennsauken, NJ headquarters.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Management
- Manage and support key accounts across wholesale, custom, and strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Serve as a primary point of contact for account communication
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business development
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Oversee order flow from initial inquiry through fulfillment
- Coordinate with internal teams including operations, marketing, and leadership
- Track timelines, deliverables, and customer expectations
- Support forecasting, planning, and account growth initiatives
Customer & Community Engagement
- Represent Varlo in customer-facing communications
- Work with teams, clubs, and organizations within the endurance community
- Support events, activations, and partnership initiatives when needed
- Help strengthen Varlo’s presence within the endurance sports community
Process & Growth
- Help develop scalable sales and operational processes
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Assist in building infrastructure to support continued company growth
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or sales operations preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company environment
- Passion for sports, endurance athletics, or performance apparel is a strong plus
