Production Manager

Job Description

Insight Global's large semiconductor client is looking for a Production Manager to join their team in Breinigsville, PA. The Production Manager will oversee all operations of a 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing facility, managing a team of approximately 230 production operators, process technicians, and shift supervisors. This role is responsible for driving production performance through the implementation of performance metrics, accelerating new product introduction from prototype to high-volume manufacturing, and building a highly effective team capable of scaling with demand and new technologies. The manager will lead key factory activities, resolve complex production issues, and ensure alignment with business and customer requirements. Additional responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and scheduling for equipment, labor, materials, and related costs, as well as developing organizational policies for the production team. The position also involves selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to maintain operational efficiency, and communicating production goals, performance metrics, and delivery schedules to the factory floor, senior leadership, and customers.

This is a permanent position, 5 days a week onsite and the salary range is $100,000-$142,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 12 years of professional experience over all industries

Minimum of 8 years in semiconductor manufacturing and 3+ years leading large, multi-shift teams.

Strong management discipline to standardize procedures across shifts and drive consistent performance improvements.

Experience managing 24/7 shifts with over 30 people at a time.

Deep knowledge of production methodologies and manufacturing systems such as MES floor control, SPC, ERP and supply/demand analysis Expertise in using KPIs to improve equipment and factory performance and build a metrics-driven organizations

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in technical field (such as engineering, etc.) or in business.
