Certified Pedorthist

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Certified Pedorthist to join our growing Prosthetics & Orthotics team in Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about lower-extremity care, footwear solutions, and improving mobility and quality of life for a diverse patient population. The Certified Pedorthist will work collaboratively with orthotists, prosthetists, physicians, and clinical staff to assess, design, and deliver effective pedorthic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with foot, ankle, and lower-extremity conditions to determine appropriate pedorthic treatment plans
• Design, fabricate, modify, and fit therapeutic footwear, foot orthoses, and related devices
• Conduct gait analysis and pressure mapping as needed to inform clinical decisions
• Educate patients on proper footwear use, foot health, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with referral sources including physicians, therapists, and case managers
• Stay current with advancements in pedorthics, materials, and techniques
• Ensure proper inventory management of footwear and materials

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped.) in good standing
• Licensed in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (newly certified candidates will be considered)
• Strong knowledge of lower-extremity anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology
• Experience with orthotic fabrication and footwear modification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an O&P clinical setting
• Familiarity with diabetic foot care and wound prevention strategies
• Sales and patient relationship management experience
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
