Staff Accountant - New Opening!
Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant opening! This temp to hire opportunity offers full time hours, 7a-3p, Mon-Fri. Pay is $27.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- match invoices to POs
- code/enter supplier invoices into Sage
- process payments by check, ACH, and wire transfers
- conduct reconciliations of supplier statements
- prepare/post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- perform account reconciliations
- assist w/ month/year end close processes
- analyze financial data and investigate variances
- assist in audits and improve accounting controls
Candidates for this role must have 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience w/ an ERP is needed (ex. Sage, SAP, QuickBooks). Successful candidates will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.
