Adam Search Group is looking to hire a Procurement & Sales Support Specialist for a client of ours in Butler, PA, who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. In this role, you'll partner with our sales, operations, and procurement teams to source everything from specialized components and industrial equipment to construction materials and mission-critical supplies supporting government and military programs.

What You'll Do

As an integral member of our team, you'll help ensure that our customers receive the right products on time and in full compliance with project requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching and sourcing hard-to-find components, construction materials, industrial tools, equipment, and operational supplies.
• Supporting government and military projects by procuring products that meet strict customer and mission requirements.
• Developing, maintaining, and improving Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Reviewing BOMs to identify and resolve:
• Compliance requirements (RoHS, REACH, DFARS, Buy American Act, etc.)
• Country of Origin documentation
• Long lead-time risks
• Obsolete or discontinued components
• Approved alternates and replacement parts
• Analyzing supply chain risks and identifying proactive sourcing solutions that keep projects moving.
• Building strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing, improve lead times, and secure reliable product availability.
• Preparing quotations, pricing analyses, and sourcing recommendations for both customers and internal teams.
• Tracking procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory availability using ERP, CRM, and Excel.
• Working closely with sales, operations, and project teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication, responsiveness, and creative problem-solving.

Qualified candidates will have:

• A self-driven, resourceful mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including BOM creation, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, research, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• A proven track record of locating difficult-to-source products and materials.
• Experience with industrial products, construction materials, MRO supplies, equipment, or military procurement is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement, supply chain management, sourcing strategies, and product lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with compliance standards, Country of Origin documentation, and government contracting requirements is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• A high level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
